Mr. James Small
James is a Certified Public Accountant in New Mexico and Ohio, as well as the Founder and President of Sage Accounting and Business Resources. Educated at Wright State University and Bowling Green State University, Mr. Small has big five, regional, and local firm experience and was Director of Tax Policy for the FDIC from 1991 to 1997. Mr. Small specializes in Tax Planning and Compliance, Business Valuations, and Litigation Support.
Wanda Easley-Small
Wanda has over 15 years in HR management. She received her certification in Human Resource Management from University of New Mexico’s Robert O. Anderson School of Business. She was the Human Resource Manager for major retailer Macy’s West in Phoenix and Albuquerque as well as Human Resource, Customer Service and Regional Sales experience with United Airlines in Washington DC.
Gwendolyn Berg
Gwendolyn received her Bachelor’s Degree from Northern State University (Aberdeen, SD). She has over 15 years of accounting experience. Prior to joining Sage Accounting, she worked in the insurance and car retail industries.
Teresa Cohen
Teresa Cohen is a shareholder in Sage Accounting. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from the University of New Mexico's Anderson School of Management and has been a C.P.A. for nearly twenty years. Teresa has specialized in small business accounting since 1987
Sarah Altman
Sarah Altman joined the Sage Accounting team eleven months ago, assisting in payroll, accounting, and document preparation. Sarah has rejoined her family in her home town in Albuquerque, formerly worked in Kent, WA as an Administrative Assistant. She has experience in office management, customer care, and account management for the past five years.
